Almost every game we've made has been made in under 24 hours. Each game we make raises the bar. We believe we can make some awesome stuff that inspires people on Roblox, and each game we make is another step towards getting better at doing that.

Meet our team

At Studio Koi Koi, we are a small but mighty team of four individuals who are passionate about game development. Each member of our team brings a unique set of skills to the table, and we pride ourselves on our cross-disciplinary expertise. From coding and game design, to art and sound, we work collaboratively to bring our games to life.

Despite our small size, we are a feisty team that isn't afraid to take risks and experiment with new ideas. We believe that our agility and flexibility as a team are some of our greatest strengths, enabling us to create games quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality.

We've formed a studio because we can't make our dreams come true by themselves. We all have creations we want to make, and ideas we want to execute. As a studio, we can have fun doing that.

Our story

Our team came together in the Roblox 2020 accelerator program, where James and Martin discovered their shared passion for game development. Driven by a shared dream of creating awesome games that inspire others on Roblox, they decided to team up and start making games together. Over time, our team has grown and evolved, but our commitment to creating innovative and inspiring games has remained the same. By working collaboratively and pushing each other to be the best we can be, we strive to make a lasting impact on the Roblox community.

Although our first game on Roblox didn't quite hit the mark, we didn't give up. Instead, we took what we learned from that experience and used it to create several more games. Each game we make brings us closer to our goal of creating unique and engaging experiences for our players. By learning from our failures and embracing our successes, we continue to push the boundaries of what is possible on Roblox.

Today we have 13 games with 9.6 thousand concurrent players. These experiences have been played 991.7 million times and have been favorited 2.6 million times. This represents what we believe is 3 of the top 1000 Roblox games.
