The Great Yolktales 2026 - By the community, for the community

We’re proud to announce that a follow-up to “Egg Hunt: THe Great Yolktales” is now in development, in conjunction with us, Fifteam, and Geekout.

We’ve been working for the last 6 months to plan this project, as we believe it’s an important part of the Roblox community.

This project is going to be a massive, story driven adventure game modeled after classic Roblox Egg Hunts, and we plan to include an epic narrative with 10+ hours of content. The gameplay will be platforming, combat, and puzzle solving, everything you hope to find in a classic egg hunt.

Why now?

It’s been meany years since the Roblox egg hunt, but we have the developers, community leaders, and resources to build this out. The community has been demanding a classic egg hunt.

Also, it’s been our dream to make something of this quality once again on Roblox - and the typical model of building this game is very risk. We believe now is the time to try to make this a reality-despite it being hard.

Why us?

Fifteam is the original creative team behind the 2018 Egg Hunt, and our studio has a ton of battle tested technology directly inspired by this game. Additionally, GeekOut has a strong belief and power in the community, and so this teamwork provides the necessary ingredients to make a great game.

Business model

We’re trying something risky here, by making extended access to this project a paid access game. The main game will be free to play. The local currency purchase of $50 will let us gain $35 for our content, instead of the usual $12.50 that Roblox gives. This helps fund UGC costs and in return, purchasers will receive resellable UGC items.

A business model like this supports our desired outcome of creating quality artwork, for the community, by the community.
