April Updates for Egg Hunt 2026: The Grand Eggspress
Surprise, another update hot off the press! One moment we made it to our Kickstarter goal and the next instance, we’re working round the clock churning out level after level. This time around has particularly a grand feat of its own as Egg Hunt 2026: The Grand Eggspress is a few months away from our proposed July launch date.
While we’re feeling the pressure on our end, that doesn’t stop us from making strides to make this game enriching for the fans and for the community. Check out some of the awesome things we’re churning out within the team.
FEATURE 1: April showers bring…giant egg fragments crashing into the earth?
Like any classic game, there has to be a tutorial level for those dipping their toes into something new. Players starting out in Egg Hunt 2026 will land right into Comet Point where they’ll learn tips and tricks to traverse some of the levels in-game. Of course, they'll also encounter our beloved companion Pip who will guide them on their way.
Within the lands of Comet Point, players will encounter the Egg Rain as well as talks of the Century Egg fragment being scattered all over. We are also hard at work making the train come to life in EH2026, where you can enter magical rooms jam packed with amenities designed to cater to every guest’s request. Whether you want to relax in the cabin, enjoy some delicious refreshments, or check out some of the sweet decor, the train will serve as your home base as you make your way through the worlds of EH2026.
When you step into the train at Comet Point, it’ll serve as the launchpad to an unforgettable journey steeped in nostalgia, heart, and thrills. With Pip by your side, anything is possible as you make your way to recover the Century Egg.
FEATURE 2: Our team makes its way to World 4’s Meringue Oasis where an underwater civilization succumbs to the elements and turns into an arid landscape.
Amidst the sandy dunes meeting the cloud-dotted cerulean skies, players will pass through bleached coral trees, meandering canyons, and see the skeletal remains of unworldly creatures that belonged in the depths of the sea.

FEATURE 3: We believe in the power of the Roblox community and one way our studio continues to engage with fans all over the world is UGC collaborations.
From fine tuning the submission rules to vetting the signup procedures, we have narrowed down several UGC designers to create specialized eggs that will correlate with the themes of EH2026’s levels. The UGC designers have the opportunity to select which area they’d like to make an egg for and from there, they’ll receive information for their respective world.
Our selected UGC designers did such a phenomenal job capturing the unique themes throughout EH2026 and we’re astounded by the creativity presented in each piece. From eye-catching features, lush colors, and everything in between, these eggs are certified fresh and ready to be discovered. The development process for these eggs to come to life was certainly no cakewalk, but we are amazed by the sheer talent these UGC designers accomplished in such a short amount of time. These 3 eggs are just a small selection of the many incredible eggs you will find on your journey.
As for these delicious eggs, where will they be hidden? Well, you just gotta wait and see!
FEATURE 4: We are at the halfway point of launching Egg Hunt 2026: The Grand Eggspress and it’s wild to think just a little over four months ago, we have illustrated only a small portion of World 1/Florentine Forest.
It is imperative to our studio’s mission to make every level within Egg Hunt 2026: The Grand Eggspress crafted with in-depth details, intuitive gameplay, and immersive environments. We even revisit some of our previous worlds and troubleshoot areas that require a little extra flourish.
For example, we are abuzz with excitement as we did a little revamp for a couple minigames within the Florentine Forest. What was originally a bare-bones layout in the level is now enriched with dancing honeycombs accented with little bees fluttering around for players to explore.
The other minigame we’re excited to show off is a beloved twist on the classic whack-a-mole game but instead of those furry creatures, you’ll get to hit a worm to the ground as you help a farmer tend to her garden. We hope these little additional touches are a welcome addition that players of all ages can enjoy.
FEATURE 5: You’ve all been waiting for it with bated breath, but we’re excited to announce that early playtesting has been activated within our Koiverse Discord server! This was an added feature for those who pledged their support on our Kickstarter when it launched last December.
To commemorate this momentous occasion, our team has worked countless days to feature a specially crafted landing place when players log right into Egg Hunt 2026. The landing place is a feature that playtesters will encounter which gives a sweet sneak peek of what’s to come in the overall environment.
As players step onto the themed floating islands, each one features a couple characters from their respective world, a few of the level’s specific elements (Example: the large mushrooms of Florentine Forest), and a plaque summarizing the story of each world. From initial brainstorming to the final iteration, each area is crafted with the utmost care in every step.
We are eternally grateful for our team of programmers, developers, artists, writers, and other team members who make this game such a rewarding experience to work on (despite the long hours and seemingly endless tasks that run abound). Throughout the work week, we’re constantly looking to improve even the smallest details to ensure EH2026 is an enjoyable experience from beginning to end.
