Egg Hunt 2026 1.0.5 Patch Notes

Hi all,

Here’s our 1.0.5 patchnotes for Egg Hunt 2026: The Grand Eggspress.

New features

• Egg Hunt 2026 ads launched 8/1/2026 on Roblox
• Gift eggs and launchers released

General fixes

• 267 errors should be gone or fix themselves
• If you missed an egg badge, you can now get it again by looking at the egg in the book, it will re-grant the badge
• Fixed Pip tools, book eggs and book companions being lost or not showing in book properly in some cases (we are working on fixing more cases)
• Fixed (Gilded) Grand Eggspress and Clickbait Egg granting and claiming
• Fixes for boat issues in all chapters
• Ship fix for fishing and ice block puzzles in Chapter 2, talk to NPCs again to get it
• Ship more fixes for Geode and Picnic Eggs in Chapter 1
• More Chapter 0 softlock prevention fixes
• Improvements to the challenge world so you can teleport out of it once you're in it
• Special mechanic in challenge world no longer glitches when you die with it, and can be taken to other chapters
• Fixed some UI no longer showing gamepad hints while on other non-gamepad input

Known bugs

• Player can get stuck inside P&B Hotel if they leave and rejoin while in the hotel checkpoint in Chapter 4: Meringue Oasis.
• Launcher eggs and coronegg infection should not be counted for 100% completion.
• Unable to accept invites from friends on console., we are working on it right now
• Lack of clarity on where to get Jacob’s finale egg.
• Chapter 5: Sunnyside City - Issue with “A Fruitful Endeavor” quest, cannot interact with Brimstone.

QOL and UX Improvements

• Fixed bug where remove ability for free players to even get train egg at all after CH. 0 - Appears to be a monetization/progression gate fix for preventing post-Ch0 free access to the train egg.⁠
• ⁠Fixed bug where Chapter 3: Crepey Castle egg train counter doesn’t go up - Fixed a blocker where Chapter 3 egg deposits/progress were not incrementing correctly.⁠
• Fixed bug where Chapter 3: Crepey Castle’s recruitment started playing immediately. - Fixed a critical sequencing issue where recruitment played too early.⁠
• Fixed a bug where gate needs to work with collection early. - Fixed a gate condition so it keys off collection state only.⁠
• Fixed a bug where players can pass the Century Shard in W2 and go down the ice slide without grabbing it. - Fixed progression bypass around the Century Shard / ice slide.⁠
• Fixed a bug where missing golden egg issues were present across multiple chapters. - Chapter 1 - Florentine Forest and Chapter 5: Sunnyside City
• Fixed a bug where NPC return state dialogue check for return-state NPC behavior inChapter 1 - Florentine Forest and Chapter 5: Sunnyside City
• Fixed a bug where MusicServiceClient error in w5 ending cutscene .
• Fixed a bug where Chapter 5: Sunnyside City OMELET HQ Gate was needed.
• Fixed a bug where vary purchase button text for free gift eggs (Claim/Purchase) - Updated purchase/claim button text behavior for free gift eggs.⁠
• Fixed a bug where the soup hall chef was missing on return to chapter. - Recent activity on a completed fix for the soup hall chef not appearing on chapter return.⁠
• Fixed a bug where the radius on the checkpoint was reduced inside the P&B hotel.
• Fixed a bug where we prevented players from getting stuck inside the P&B hotel before opening the door
• Fixed a bug where the Chase companion finale was failing mid cutscene.
