Egg Hunt 2026 1.0.6 Patch Notes

New features

• Mobile browsers are now permitted to buy real-currency paid access
• Players located in Bulgaria can properly see the Egg Hunt 2026 game page now

General fixes

• Fixed a bug where Banana says BananaItem and Mango says MangoItem when collected in Chapter 5: Sunnyside City

Known bugs

• Chapter 1: Florentine Forest - Instrument eggs to have a fallback granting path, if quest/minigame non-repeatable
• Chapter 2: Songhua Station - Some heat torches are not working properly
• Pip Hammer sometimes unobtainable / no longer in inventory after dying/sequence breaking
• Consistent softlock after breaking the crystals in chapter 0
• Some players cannot advance past Chapter 2: Songhua Station at the end of the story/some players cannot fix tracks
• Game cannot be completed with per-chapter purchases because boss rejects players in Chapter 6: Pavlava Ruins
• Lag spikes due to localization system
• UI is massive and unusable on certain mobile devices
• Transition from world select to world entry is very unclear, needs funnel improvement
• Chapter 5: Sunnyside City - Clarity issues around “car not moving”, “missing Sulfrus”, “Brimstone missing dialog”, etc.
• Chapter 5: Sunnyside City - “Softlock” related to sequence breaks in main quests (fruit quests out of order)
• Softlocks related to companion quest states being messed up
• Chapter 6: Pavlava Ruins world select UI should not show a century shard
• Players can end up with discrepancies in world currency count vs what they still have to buy
• Chapter 2:Songhua Station - Player can skip climbing picks and sequence break, and end up permanently locked out of them
• Gertrude goes missing if you get in a bad state during Gertrude/Stumpton companion quest
• The “Something went wrong” screen needs to be amended to allow resetting to train in Chapter 0: Comet Point
• Chapter 2: Songhua Station - Softlock after using freeze-o-matic
• Missing Backpack Tools should be auto-awarded on joining new chapters

QOL and UX Improvements

• Fixed a blocker where the Chapter 1: Florentine Forest Gertrude quest soft-locks after she onboards on train
• Fixed a bug where NPCs will still react to being hit by Pip tools with text exclamations
• Fixed a bug where Foremen Highmark re-appears on the boat after rejoining world on completed save in Chapter 3: Crepey Castle
• Fixed a blocker where the lock claim button on the train egg in book if user is a free (non-paying) player with upsell hint
• Fixed a bug in Chapter 5: Sunnyside City where there was a design issue in master plumbing egg setup
• Fixed a blocker in Chapter 4: Meringue Oasis where players can get stuck in the hotel if they glitch through and touch the checkpoint
